Conditions of Missouri Probation Law

The Court decides all probation matters, including if probation is granted as well details specific to the probation such as probation term and additional conditions of the probation. The Court may impose any number of conditions of probation, including, but not limited to:

  • Restrictions on travel
  • Abstinence from alcohol and controlled substances
  • Curfews
  • Requirement of the offender to have steady employment
  • Limitations on the places and businesses an offender can visit
  • Requirement of general good behavior
  • Completion of community service
  • Completion of Substance Abuse Traffic Offenders Program (SATOP)
  • Use of an ignition interlock on any vehicle
